TWO TOLE DECORATED TRAYS. Second half 19th century, American. The largest of classical design decorated with floral rondels and with fruit decorated panels within leafy sprays. The border of repeating Anthemion leaves all on a black ground. The second painted with a large central floral spray in which is perched an exotic bird on a black ground within a border of silvered floral sprays. SIZE: 28-3/4″ l x 21″ w; 24″ l x 17-3/4″ w. respectively. CONDITION: Overall very good with original untouched surfaces. Normal and expected surface scratches to exteriors. 9-21765 (500-1,000)
