DAUM NANCY SNAIL VASE. Magnificent Daum vase has cameo decoration of grapevines, leaves and grape clusters done in green, gray and purple vitrified glass against a mottled brown shading to yellow background. Vase is further adorned with an applied snail and several applied cabochon grapes giving the vase a somewhat three dimensional feel. Signed on the underside with etched “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 10-1/8″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Long Island Collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with tiny nick on bottom edge of foot. 5-63015 (8,000-12,000)
