CARVED IVORY FIGURE. 19th century, Continental. Depicting a horseman sounding a trumpet wearing plumed cap, cape and a sword at his side in the manner of a Musketeer. The horse and rider mounted on an oval ivory plinth. SIZE: 4-1/4″ h. CONDITION: No apparent restoration. Vertical seam present between horse blanket and rear haunch believed to be in the making. Oval plinth with shrinkage cracks and hairlines. Good color and patina. 9-29809 (150-250)
