REGENCY MAHOGANY DROP LEAF BREAKFAST TABLE

REGENCY MAHOGANY DROP LEAF BREAKFAST TABLE. First quarter 19th century. The rectangular top with molded edge joined to hinged D-form leaves projecting above the conforming apron fitted with a deep frieze drawer and opposing sham drawer raised on a ring-turned pedestal joined to four outswept molded legs headed with acanthus leaf carving terminating in cast brass scrolled foliate feet with casters. SIZE: Ht 27 1/2″ L 41 1/2″ Width closed 21 1/2″; Top opened 45″ x 42″ CONDITION: The tabletop with a circa 1920 re-polish, now cloudy. The base retaining original finish with dark patina. The hardware and feet original. Piece of cockbeading missing on drawer otherwise very good. 9-97610 (1,000-1,500)
