FINE JADE CARVING OF A HAPPY BUDDHA. China. Depicting a Buddha emerging from a pumpkin beneath a lotus leaf. The bottom with ruyi flower, the side carved with two bats. In the Buddhas left hand is a bag of wealth. Nicely rendered with a shading from white jade to brown sugar jade. SIZE: 2-2/3″l x 1-1/2″w.
