CARVED RELIEF PLAQUE OF A SALMON ATTRIBUTED TO A.W. WENTWORTH OF MAINE. A tree log slice has inset oval carved 23″ Salmon which has colorful paint and realistic features. The back having a note “Information from family-thought to be carved and painted by Reverend A. W. Wentworth, traveling minister in Maine-mostly Baldwin area. Minister North Deering Church for short time in ’30’s. Died 1960″. SIZE: Overall is 42″ x 13-1/2”. PROVENANCE: Collection of Elwyn Dearborn, Medford, NJ; Portland, ME.
