OPEN FACE FRENCH KEY WIND POCKET WATCH. Late 18th – Early 19th century, the case stamped “ROBIN/A PARIS” believed to be Robert Robin (1742-1799) or that of his son Jean-Joseph Robin (d. 1858), both of Paris, France. Enamel dial with Roman numeral chapter ring and sweep seconds hand. Interior back of case marked “CYLINDRE QUATRE JOYAUX” (Four Jewels). Case additionally marked with serial number “19899” SIZE: Dial: 1-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: Movement appears intact although not checked for being functional. Enamel face with multiple tight hairline cracks. Otherwise good. 9-24315 (1,000-1,500)
