CONFEDERATE CAVALRY SABER MADE BY MEMPHIS NOVELTY WORKS. 35” unstopped fullered blade. Brass 3-branched hilt is marked “THOMAS LEECH & CO, MEMPHIS NOVELTY WORKS”. Grip is twisted copper wire over leather. Accompanying scabbard is iron with brass mounts. CONDITION: Blade is gray with areas of cleaning and pitting. Leather washer is replaced.
