SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1861 MUSKET. NSN. Cal. .62, 33” bbl, dated 1862 on the lockplate. Stock has been shortened and altered to a single band configuration. Rear sight and swing swivels are missing. Front side and ramrod are replacements. CONDITION: Rust brown patina with moderate to heavy pitting, the stock shows numerous repairs and cracks. Lock is good. 4-48531 FS70 (200-300)
