Unsigned oil on canvas western scene shows a lake with natural rock monuments, an island with campfire and the foreground having an Indian brave and squaw with canoe. Also a canoe being paddled by a man beyond. Bright sun peaks out behind clouds with upper blue sky. Housed in a modern fancy gilt frame. PROVENANCE: Fine private Long Island, New York mansion.
