GORHAM STERLING SILVER CHILDREN’S 3 PIECE PORRIDGE SET. Last Quarter 19th Century. Decorated with wide bands of repousse featuring Elizabethian musicians with dancing couples all within scrolling vinery. Each item is monogrammed with “FDR”. There is undocumented conjecture that this set may have belonged to Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Plate is model #285, footed bowl is model #285 and mug is model #3965. Total weight 718gr. SIZE: Plate is 7-1/2″ dia. Bowl is 4-3/4″ dia. Mug is 3-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Small dent in plate, bowl with dents and small creases, mug is out of round with rim having small dents. 9-99039 (1,800-2,200)
