SIGNED (French School, 19th Century) THE FISHER WOMEN. Oil on board marine scene shows three women hauling nets off a fishing boat. Several boats are seen beyond with seagulls flying overhead. Signed lower right with what appears to be “W. Cian…”. Housed in an antique gesso decorated wood frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 11-1/4” x 14-1/2”.
