MID-ATLANTIC FEDERAL INLAID CHERRY DINING TABLE. Circa 1810, probably Maryland. In two parts, each demilune section fitted with a hinged rectangular leaf above a deep apron bordered with string and dot inlay, raised on 5 square tapered legs headed by inlaid arrowheads, icicle inlays, and bordered with contrasting stringing, terminating in banded cuffs. The 5th leg on each section hinged to support the drop leaf. SIZE: 30″ h x 46″ w x 48″ l (closed), 85″ l (open). CONDITION: Professionally refinished and repolished, minor losses to inlaid cuffs and professional restorations to top boards. 9-97004 (2,000-4,000)
