THREE PART STERLING KETTLE ON STAND. 1745/1744 London. John Jacobs. The pot of round form with scroll decorated handle, the top wrapped in rattan, the hinged lid having a pineapple knop, the spout having scroll & shell design, engraved decoration to top area. Well marked with four hallmarks, the side having a decorative cartouche, the stand having three shell supports to the burner frame, the skirt having mask head and floral garland marked with four clear hallmarks, the last piece is the removable burner with wick holder marked with two hallmarks including the maker. WEIGHT: 82 tr. oz. SIZE: 15″ to top of handle, 11″ without handle. CONDITION: Good. 9-25330 (2,000-3,000)
