CURRIER & IVES (PUBLISHER, 19TH CENTURY) “THE GRAND NEW STEAMBOAT PILGRIM, THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD”. Large folio colored lithograph shows the steamboat full of people flying six different flags and traveling right to left. A small one-masted sail boat is in foreground. Copyright 1883 and having a full legend indicating this was the flagship of the Fall River Line and listing all her attributes. Housed in a black molded wood frame with gilt edge and watercolor highlighted white mat. SIZE: Image size 20-1/2″ x 34-1/2″, sight size 25-1/4″ x 35-1/2″. CONDITION: Not examined out of frame.
