AUSTRIAN BRONZE SNAKE TABLE LAMP. Very interesting Austrian table lamp has two bronze snakes climbing from the openwork base around a pottery bowl extending to support the bronze shade holder which is set with purple and turquoise chunk jewels. Lamp is topped with a mushroom shaped blue and green iridescent swirling shade with strong purple highlights. Shade is unsigned. Pottery bowl is marked “Hollosino Ware Austria” and “N21074”. SIZE: Shade is 11″ dia x 5″ fitter. Lamp is 29″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. The lamp may have had a glass bead fringe hanging below the shade holder to conceal the lower socket and bulb. 5-63301 (3,000-5,000)
