FINE DIMINUTIVE EDWARDIAN INLAID ROSEWOOD CORNER CABINET. Late 19th, early 20th century, England. This fine marquetry example of inlaid ribbon-tied garlands, scrolling floral vinery, and marquetry panels depicting seated opposing chimeras posed on plinths supporting a fruit-filled urn above scrolling leaf tips centering six beveled mirror plates with shaped gallery shelf. The lower cabinet with tiers of open shelving beneath a frieze of scrolling marquetry centering an inlaid musical trophy above a door with marquetry panel depicting a caduceus within a cartouche, all within ribbon-tied drapery and scrolling floral vinery.
