FINE CARVED HARDWOOD DRESSING SCREEN. Late 19th, early 20th century, Middle East Region. This three panel example carved overall in relief with scrolling leaf tips and vinery with inlaid abalone rosettes and flower heads. Each panel with arabesque cresting above spool turned open trellis work, the center most panel fitted with a small hinged serving door of demilune form with crenellated galleries, the sides pierce carved with spool trellis work. The reverse with uncarved panels. SIZE: 75-1/2″ h. Overall length: 70-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good overall with untouched surfaces. 9-29865 (300-500)
