ROOKWOOD GEISHA GIRL BOOKENDS. Pair of Rookwood pottery geisha girl bookends depicts a geisha girl sitting against a wall with arms and legs crossed. She is wearing a light blue colored gown and purple head gear. Marked on the underside with Rookwood flame mark dated 1924. One of the bookends also retains remnants of a paper Rookwood label. SIZE: 7-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good with a tight hairline near the base that appears to be in the glaze only. 5-63340 (300-500)
