TWO ROYAL WORCESTER JAPANESQUE ITEMS. Late 19th Century. England. The first in the form of an ewer applied with a gilt branch handle, the body decorated with raised gilt flowering and fruit-filled sprigs. Decorated with two exotic polychrome painted birds. Marked beneath the base in under-glaze green registration number 7112 above an additional number 1116. The second, a globular basket-weave vase with naturalized branch feet. Each end with a gilt woven handle, gilt decorated overall with flowering trees. The top rim with molded Greek key border. SIZE: 10-1/4″ h of first, 8″ h of second. CONDITION: Both very good structural condition. The second with wear to gilded surfaces. 9-27056 (400-600)
