MINIATURE CARVED ALABASTER MODEL OF THE TAJ MAHAL. The model is made of white carved alabaster with some hand watercolored highlights, simulating stonework, and floral and geometric decoration. The dome lifts off to access a light bulb with a modern cord attached. The piece set on four turned short feet. SIZE: 13″ h x 12″ sq. CONDITION: The center dome probably a replacement made of chalk or plaster. Otherwise good. 9-29854 (400-800)
