CONVERTED NORTH MODEL 1819 PISTOL. The safety and date on the rear of the lock were removed during the conversion process along with part of the “North” marking in front of the new hammer. The conversion is a bolster type done by Andrew Wurflein in Philadelphia. It has his mark “A.W” on the flat of the bolster. The orig flintlock cartouche on the left of the stock is visible but not readable. CONDITION: Gray patina with light pitting overall. Stock has been cleaned and varnished over dents and scratches.
