TWO UNSIGNED NANTUCKET LIGHTSHIP ROUND BASKETS. Early 20th century. Constructed in the manner of Captain Andrew Sandsbury, these round examples with nicely formed swing handles and with sheet brass ears, rim in three laminated parts. Each with walnut circular base incised with four circles. SIZE: Largest: 7″ h x 11″ dia. 15″ h overall. Smallest: 6-1/2″ h x 10″ dia. 13″ h overall. CONDITION: Original untouched surfaces and with nice patina. 9-22890 (800-1,200)
