FACTORY ENGRAVED REMINGTON RIDER DA PERCUSSION POCKET REVOLVER WITH DISPLAY CASE. Cal. 31. SN 415. Blued finish with 3” oct bbl, German silver triggerguard, 2-pc ivory grips, engraved on frame, cylinder & backstrap. Accompanied by a 10-3/4” x 12-3/4” red velvet display case containing an original bullet mold, ball & star flask & loading tool, copy of 1870 catalogue page displaying this revolver. Also accompanied by a framed, orig Remington brochure and instruction sheet advertising this revolver and Remington gun canes. It is a bi-fold measuring 16-1/4″ long and 10-1/4″ high. Bottom of each page is marked with engravers name & address. CONDITION: Fine. Overall retains good crisp markings with slightly softened engraving with fine surface pitting and retains most of a great restored finish. Hammer will not hold on safety notch, otherwise mechanics are fine. Case made by consignor is fine. Accessories show light to moderate wear with medium patina. Framed document is yellowed and stained with fold creases but appears to be completely intact with completely legible writing. 4-59331 JH25 (1,000-1,500)
