Open field surrounded by trees with town and church steeple in background and small stream in foreground. Signed lower right. Exhibit label attached to back top of frame and numbered and titled 257 Near Waterford, Conn. Housed in its original fancy gold decorated gesso frame with gold liner and glass window. PROVENANCE: A fine Florida home; part of a collection that has descended in the same family since their purchase in the first quarter of the 20th C. SIZE: 14″ x 19″. CONDITION: Very good.
