SMITH CIVIL WAR CARBINE. Cal .50. 21-1/2” part oct bbl. Made by Mass Arms Co. Two “JM” cartouches on the left side of the stock. SN 13311. CONDITION: 40% dull blue on bbl mixed with white pitting and surface rust. Casehardening on the action has faded to dark. Buttplate is lightly pitted with a brown patina. Wood is fine with minor dents and scratches on the forearm. Action is good, bore is bright. 4-49736 FS74 (1,000-2,000)
