CLASSICAL SILVER-PLATED URN ON STAND. Second half 19th century. The classical urn form with ball and spire finial, a spigot with scrolled handle, basket-form receptacle for burner on an outswept round molded plinth raised on splayed feet with applied shells. The whole with scrolling floral and drape-and-tassel brightwork. SIZE: 22″ h. CONDITION: This covered urn, of the quality of Sheffield, appears to be unmarked. All original and in very good condition, with wear to plating on feet. Burner absent. 9-92948 (400-600)
