*BELGIAN BROWNING AUTO RIFLE. Cal. 22 short. Grade I rifle with 22” bbl, brass bead front sight and early wheel open rear sight. Muzzle is fitted with threads for a suppressor or flash hider. Top left rear of the receiver has a large drilled and tapped hole apparently for an offset sight, which is missing. Wood is light yellow European walnut with semi-beavertail forearm and serrated steel buttplate. Bottom of the forearm has two small drilled holes. SN A9770. CONDITION: Very good, as noted. Metal retains 96-97% original blue. Wood is sound with several dings and gouges on the stock and forearm. Bolt has spotted light rust. Bright shiny bore. 4-46558 JR572 (300-500)
