MARION T. MACINTOSH (American, 1871-1936) “DINGLE BAY”. Large oil on canvas scene shows a blue bay nestled amongst hills and mountains. The viewer is looking over grass covered rocks towards the bay. Signed lower left. Housed in a gilt modern carved wood frame. Index card on back indicates that originally it was from the Estate of Calvin S. Hathaway and another title for the painting is Donegal Cove, Ireland. The scene is located in Northwest Ireland. SIZE: 28” x 30”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-90006 (1,500-2,000)
