HANDEL PINE TREE TABLE LAMP. Massive Handel overlay lamp depicts a sunset as viewed through three-dimensional pine trees. The foreground is represented with an overlay of upper pine tree foliage with the background pine trees as well as tree trunks being obverse painted. The shade is finished with a scalloped border of overlay pine needle design. All metal overlay is backed with bent panel glass; the upper portion having muted sunset colors and the bottom border being green straited with white and yellow. The shade is supported by an extremely large bulbous three socket base with a band of embossed floral decoration completed by three acorn pull chains and openwork heat cap. Shade is signed “Handel” on an applied tag. Base is marked on the underside “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 25″ dia. Overall 25″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-68982 (10,000-15,000)
