CASED KNIFE AND CARVING SET. Set is marked ‘J. Garside Superior Cutlery”. Each piece has a hand carved bone/ivory ear of corn handle. Rosewood fitted case with engraved brass shaped plaque to top which is loose and inside case. As is the shield shaped escutcheon plate. The set includes: Two 14-1/2” carving knives; One 10-1/2” fork; Two 9-1/2” forks; One 10-1/2” knife. Lift out tray has seventeen 11” knives. Another tray has fourteen 8-1/2” knives. CONDITION: Case has warped top which has split the corner. Handles are intact, some have splits to handles. 9-97727 (500-1,000)
