EXTREMELY RARE PAIRPOINT PIANO LAMP. Mozart shade begins with a beautiful mauve ground with a white tapestry floral design overall with highlights of gold throughout. Shade is supported by an original brass base with a wreath and garland design. Lamp is signed on the interior “The Pairpoint Corp”. Base is unmarked. This lamp is extremely rare with only a few in existence. A similar example is found in the book “Pairpoint Lamps: A Collector’s Guide” by Louis O. St. Aubin, Jr, pg. 39 under the Unusuals. SIZE: Shade is 10″ l. Overall 14″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to patina. 5-68114 (1,500-2,500)
