MAYNARD FIRST MODEL SPORTING RIFLE. Cal .35. 20” part oct bbl. Standard markings on both sides of the frame and patchbox. Bbl, lever, link, retaining pin and screw and bbl pivot are replacements. SN 985. CONDITION: Bbl and lever retain about 90% of their blue and casehardening colors. The takedown pin has been repaired with a new latching lever and is heat colored. Frame, patchbox and buttplate are mostly gray brown. Action is good. Wood has traces of varnish remaining but has severe rust and oil stains and a few minor scratches and dents. 4-49805 X13 (1,000-1,500)
