FINE GERMAN SUPERPOSED FLINTLOCK BOAR GUN. NSN. 60 Cal. 26-3/16” oct bbls. Marked “Fr: G:” on top of the bbl, “6” on the upper bbl tang. The top bbl is rifled, the bottom bbl is smooth. The locks are unmarked. The stock has a sliding wood patchbox. There is a sling swivel on the forearm and a button on the bottom of the stock between the triggerguard and buttplate. There is also a ring on the left side of the forearm tip whose purpose has not yet been determined. CONDITION: Very good to fine. About 40% blue on the bbls, worn on the edges and mixed with light brown patina. Locks have gray patina with very little pitting. Stock has light dents and scratches. Mechanically fine. Wm.
