BERNARD DE HOOG (Dutch, 1867-1943) PRAYER AT THE TABLE. Fine oil on canvas interior scene shows two women seated at a country table with a teapot and bowl of food with plate. Their hands are clasped in prayer gesture. Sunlight streams through a half curtain window and a cat sits atop a stand in between two ladder-back chairs. Signed lower right “Bernard De Hoog”.
