RUSSIAN ENAMEL HANDLED BOX. Lovely enameled box features enameled stylized birds for handles with scrolls and leaves surrounding the body of the box. Below the scrolls are alternating panels of green and white enamel with gold stars in the center of each. The feet are silver eagle talons holding a silver ball. The top of the box has a six-point star in the center surrounded by a circle, dots and Fleur de Lis. SIZE: 2 1/2″ square. CONDITION: Some chips to the enamel on the base panels, otherwise very good. 5-66863 (1,000-1,500)
