ALLEN & WHEELOCK SIDE HAMMER POCKET REVOLVER WITH TINTYPE. Cal. 22 RF. SN 718. Blued finish, 3” oct bbl with crisp markings, post front sight, five panel scenes on cylinder are partially visible, 2-pc smooth rosewood grips. Accompanied by a gutta percha Union case with a tintype of a Union Corporal seated holding the same model revolver. CONDITION: Good. All metal surfaces have been cleaned & patina enhanced. Bore shows even light pitting with spots of heavier pitting. Refinished grips have stains at the top. Mechanically fine. Case & tintype are fine. 4-59493 JH109 (600-1,000)
