SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR RIFLE W/RAMROD BAYONET. Cal .45-70. 32-5/8” bbl. The “SWP” cartouche is dated 1891. Also has the milled front sight protector. SN 331570. CONDITION: 50% thinning blue overall. Casehardening colors on the breech block are fading, those on the tang are bright. The buttplate is covered with light surface rust and pitting. Wood is very good with some dents and scratches and minor chips around the lock. Action is fine, bore is bright. 4-49726 FS72 (650-1,100)
