ART DECO WEDGWOOD INKWELL WITH TWO FRED PARSONS ARTS AND CRAFTS TILES. First third 20th Century. The inkwell with tray in green matte finish by Keith Murray, Model number 11B33 ex “THE MOANS COLLECTION”. Of rectangular form in the Art Deco taste, the raised inkwells within a case and original lid. The tiles depicting “THE SOWER”, the larger a profile bust portrait of a young child titled “SPRING”. Both with the incised mark of Frederick Parsons, Boston, Mass. SIZE: Inkwell 3-3/4″ h x 10″ l x 5-1/2″ w; Tiles 5-1/2″ x 4″ and 6″ x 6″ respectively. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Inkwell very good. Tiles each with small surface abrasions and losses on front. Labels are intact and legible. 9-21477 (700-900)
