SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1873 TRAPDOOR RIFLE. Cal .45-70. 32-5/8” round bbl. It has a low arch breech block dated 1873 and ski jump rear sight. No cartouche is visible on the stock. SN 289660. CONDITION: Blue gray patina overall with traces of reblue on the breech block and action. Buttplate has been polished white. Wood has been lightly sanded and refinished with some new dents and scratches. Action is fine, bore is bright. 4-49581 X32 (350-700)
