*RARE SMITH & WESSON PERUVIAN CONTRACT 38 DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. Fourth Model, blued finish, 5” bbl, pinned front sight, 2-pc black hard rubber grips. Sideplate is stamped with the crest of Peru. SN 536753. CONDITION: About good, all matching except the grips which are numbered to another gun. Retains traces of original blue in sheltered areas with the balance a plum-brown patina and fine surface pitting. Grips are sharp with a bruise on the right side. Bore is strong with moderate to heavy pitting, good mechanics, cylinder slightly loose. 4-48147 JR225 (Anderson Collection) (750-1,750)
