JAPANESE MATCHLOCK MUSKET. NSN. 54 Cal. 41-3/4” fluted oct bbl. Silver tree branches inlaid on the bbl at the breech. Bbl pin escutcheons have a leaf form. There are also leaf inlays on the butt. The ramrod is a replacement. CONDITION: Dark patina on bbl and moderate to dark patina on brass. Stock is cracked along the ramrod channel with some areas of repair. Mechanically fine. Wm.
