PIETER CORNELIUS DUMMERSEN (Dutch, 1834-1908) “ HOORN ON THE ZUIDERZEE, HOLLAND”. Small oil on mahogany panel coastal scene shows a boat unloading and women carrying away the catch. A tall tower building is seen at the edge of town. Other boats are seen under a blue and scattered white cloud sky. Titled on reverse. Also with a red wax seal. Signed lower left and dated “1892”. Housed in a gold molded wood frame. SIZE: 6” x 8”. CONDITION: Some surface dirt, very good. 9-72157 (2,250-2,750)
