*VERY EARLY RUGER NO. 1 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE. Cal. 308. SN 307. Fine single shot rifle with 22” tapered rnd bbl 1/4 rib. It has original type vertical rings that contain a Redfield 2-7X scope. It has 2-pc, very nicely grained American walnut wood with standard forearm and pistol grip stock with early Ruger thin red pad. CONDITION: Extremely fine, nearly new. Retains most of its original bright factory finish to both metal and wood with only a few scattered, very tiny use and handling marks. Crisp mechanics and brilliant shiny bore.
