EARLY IRON FORGED RUSH LIGHT. Second quarter 18th century, America. This nice example with spiral twist shaft and counter balance arm with integral snuffer socket. Fitted with a scissor mechanism and fine tapering rush holder. Raised on a tripod snake leg base, ending in penny feet. SIZE: 15″ h. CONDITION: Very good overall, with remnants of old dry black painted surface. 9-28521 (700-900)
