SIR WILLIAM RUSSELL FLINT (British, 1880-1969) “DIAPHENIA & HAZEL”. Tempera painting shows an interior setting with two nudes. One is a blonde haired woman seated on a red cushion with colorful throws beside her. Another woman is seated on cloth adjusting a tabletop oval mirror. Gold colored curtains surround a gray light colored background. Signed lower left “W. Russell Flint”. Housed in a fine gilt carved wood frame with linen matte. Archival frame which has a copy of the writing on the back with title and artist name. Also “Exhibited at RA 1939” (Exhibited at the Royal Academy in London).
