UNIQUE WISTERIA TABLE LAMP. Created by the Unique Art Glass & Metal Co. of New York, NY, this lamp is the highly desirable and sought after “Wisteria Lamp”. The irregular border shade has haphazard leaded blue panels of glass representing the sky. A full floral wisteria pattern continuously wraps around the shade in variegated blues with hints of purple and white. The wisteria flora design is set against a multitude of green colors from soft yellow green to apple green, and even some emerald. The shade is alive with color. Supporting this shade is a 3-socket tree trunk base with exposed roots. The overall lamp carries a desirable dark patina finish. A similar example may be found in the book, Mosaic Shades Volume II, by Paul Crist, p. 70. SIZE: Shade 18″ dia. Lamp 28″ t. overall. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent.
