Outstanding watercolor western winter scene shows a trapper atop a horse with pack horse beside holding a rifle over his head gesturing welcome to an Indian camp with five tepees and two figures beside. Deep snow has fallen on the field and the mountains are shrouded in clouds. Signed lower right. Housed in a decorated carved wood frame with triple matte. The back having an original label with title, numbered “607” and having “La Galeria” card. This California artist works on capturing images of the past. SIZE: Sight: 14″ x 20″.
