BURGLAR ALARM PISTOL. Cal. 32. 2-1/4″ rnd bbl percussion. The brass frame is stamped “PAT. JUNE. 12 / 1867” on the left side. The trigger protrudes from the right side of the action. A fastening screw or pull wire is in the position of the trigger. There is also a long screw that goes entirely through the frame under the trigger. Although the date stamped on this pistol is June 12th, the actual patent was issued to O.P.N Brooks & R. W. Soper of Jamesville, Wisconsin on July 9th. Compare this with the patent model shown elsewhere. CONDITION: Dark patina on the brass with considerable corrosion in the bore. Light pitting on the iron parts. 4-52952 FS217 (500-1,000)
