AMERICAN LEAPING STAG FULL-BODY COPPER WEATHERVANE. First quarter 20th century. The full-bodied example with zinc antlers and ears, depicting a stag leaping over a fallen tree and foliage. SIZE: 27″ overall h. x 29-1/2″ l. CONDITION: With good old patina, the gilt surface now covered with gray house paint. Old bullet repairs at front shoulder and top of hindquarter.
